Top Coat Mixing and Tinting Guide
Working with ratios like 8:1 or counting how many drops you have accidentally added to your to topcoat can be difficult and frustrating so we have a set of programs that will do the math for you.
The numbers the programs give you are the same for American fluid ounces (fl oz) and metric milliliters (mL). They are also correct if you are measuring resin and hardener by weight whether in grams or ounces.
Just so you know: 20 drops = 1 mL; 30 mL = 1 fluid ounce For example 240 mL = 8 fl oz.
Angel Chrome Top Coat Mixing Calculator
Enter the total number of fluid ounces or mL you want to make and then click 'Calculate'. The calculator uses a ratio of 8:1 which is what you need for Clear Top Coat.
Tinting Calculator
Tinting formulas are given as the number of drops you should add to 1 fluid ounce of Clear Top Coat to get the desired color. Drops are difficult to measure so this program converts them into fluid ounces of tint. Our 3 mL syringes make it easier to measure and dispense the tint.
