Galena Mirroring
Galena mirrors have been called black, pewter, cobalt and gunmetal mirrors. Galena (lead sulfide) is very dark gray; the color of polished hematite or the "lead" in a lead pencil.
A galena mirror offers a perfect reflection using 35% of the available light - not unlike wearing sunglasses.
