Is this what you use on the back of mirror to fix spots

Black Mirror Backing Paint is used to protect the silver on the mirror. Unfortunately it will not fix spots of bare silver. There isn't a quick, foolproof way to do this. The ideal option is to re-silver the full piece to get a continuous silver layer.
