Is it necessary to pour solutions over the glass, or could I partially dip the piece into solution? I need to cover only part of a glass.

There are a few ways to partially cover the glass. You can mask off an area you do not want to silver or you could use the Mirror Remover to remove the silver from the area that you want to be clear. You can email us photos for more detailed support.
