Hi, thanks for stopping by, Angel Gilding. I'm Alix and I wanted to take some time today to show you the bench kit. It's a very useful thing to have in your mirroring shop. Now there's a lot of different components. Let's take a look. First, you can see here our cleaning mat. This is really useful because it gives you a designated spot that you know is clean. And as we know, mirroring, it's very important to have a clean surface, so this cleaning mat can be really useful for that. And of course, we've got here our tray. Now this tray is a very durable plastic. It is designed to not interact with any of the mirroring chemicals that you'd be using. And it's large enough to support sheet glass that's up to 14 by 24 inches. Inside you can see I've placed my acrylic tubes as well as my bars. And these are all fully adjustable. I wanted to show that to you. You take your felt pins here and you can go ahead and insert them in any one of these holes to get the configuration that's going to work just right for you.
And what this does is it's going to support your piece fully nice and evenly, and also keep it above your wastewater. All of your wastewater will collect here, of course, in your tub. And then when you're done, you can go ahead and dip that tub into your waste bucket. Now you do want to make sure, especially in the sheet glass process, that this is level. So we do have shims here and you'll see in a lot of our videos that we use this for more than just sheet glass. I've used this to support a piece with the drip silver process with pump spray process to antique on your, there's a lot of different options here. So definitely something to check out if you have any questions. And if this is right for you, be sure to give us a call and be sure to subscribe to our channel to be notified of future videos. Thanks.
