Cleaning

Cleaning

A clean, wet surface is essential to successful mirroring. Even the lightest fingerprint creates a barrier between the mirroring chemicals and the glass.

  • Scrub with Concentrated Glass Cleaner dissolved in hot tap water (about 110 ° F or 40° C).
  • Remove the tap water by rinsing with steam distilled, de-ionized or reverse osmosis water.

The Water Break Test

The glass is clean when a thin film of water covers it without beading up anywhere. The water must "sheet" off the glass.

For plastic surfaces, use Wetting Agent in combination with the sensitizer.
