Antiquing Mirrors
We have 4 ways to make an antique mirror (besides leaving it in a damp location for 50 years).
- Antique the silver as it is forming on the glass.
- Buy a commercial silver mirror, strip off the paint and distress the silver.
- Buy an aluminum mirror, strip off the paint and distress the aluminum mirror coating.
- Apply silver or aluminum leaf to glass.
