The Pouring Technique
Before the invention of spray guns, air compressors and even
electricity, craftsmen used the pouring method to mirror
glass. In 1835 Baron Justus von Liebig invented silver
mirroring to replace the toxic mercury/tin amalgam process
used in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. The pouring
technique is perfect for studio artists who are dissatisfied
with commercial colors and textures.
Skill is a combination of knowledge and experience. We
offer you the chemicals and detailed, illustrated
instructions you need to take control of this simple
miraculous process.
