The "Fill and Roll" Technique
When you mirror inside a container, you can see the process
in action because you are looking at the mirror face. The
mirror coating forms by molecular attraction; it does not
depend on gravity. Roll the container gently as the mirror
forms so that the entire surface stays in contact with the
mirroring solution.
You do
not need to fill the
container; you do need to have enough mirroring solution for
the number of square feet you want to cover. Consult our
"Calculating Area" page to figure our how many square feet
you have.
