"Translucent Copper"

Lisa Blalock and Paulo DeLima created a translucent mirrored surface inside their blown glass globes by depositing a layer of copper over a layer of gold and protecting it with clear lacquer. The globes range in size from 12" to 36" in diameter. The chandelier is on display at Guess, Inc in Beverley Hills.
