Description

A flat-bottomed polypropylene tub (6” x 9” x 2”) for sensitizing, mirroring and rinsing small, irregular glass objects.

Example: Silver Mirroring

  • Pour diluted tin sensitizer into the first tub.
  • Place the glass, masked side down in this tub.
  • Rock the tub to wash the sensitizing liquid over the glass.
  • Spray-rinse the glass with distilled water in a second tub to avoid contamination.
  • Place the glass, masked side down, in a third tub.
  • Mix and pour on the mirroring solutions.
  • Rock the tub to wash the chemicals over the glass.
  • Lift out the glass and rinse in the second tub.
  • Use fresh solutions for each piece.
