The Mirror Bath Technique
Our 3-D Glass Mirroring Kit uses the traditional "mirror bath" technique to mirror small objects of any shape, such as beads or rhinestones (although any shape that fits in the bath will do.) Mirror coatings form on a molecular level; if the glass is in contact with the chemicals the metal will deposit whether the glass is flat or bumpy.
You can mask the mirror face with vinyl to keep it
clean or mirror the entire piece and remove the
unwanted coating later with one of our mirror
removers. After trying the system, you will find that
it is remarkably easy and fast.
