Description

This shellac-based primer protects perfect silver mirrors from moisture, salt and air borne contaminants. Unlike standard shellac, Mirror Undercoat does not peel when the mirror is cut. Mirror Undercoat is designed to be used with Black Mirror-Backing Paint. The color is opaque dull orange - not suitable for antique silver mirrors.

How To Use:

  • Allow mirror to dry completely.
  • Stir well before use.
  • Apply with a soft brush, smooth roller or spray gun.
  • Dries in 15 minutes at 70º F. (20º C.)
  • Finish with Black Mirror-Backing Paint
  • Clean up with denatured alcohol.
